Blue Oyster Art Project Space

Project Information

Founded in 1999, Blue Oyster is a not-for-profit art space based in Dunedin, dedicated to supporting contemporary, emerging, and experimental artistic practice. With all exhibitions and events free to attend, Blue Oyster provides an open environment of critical engagement, learning, and creative exchange.

Blue Oyster Art Project Space enables artists, writers, curators, and arts practitioners to work free from commercial constraints, fostering innovation and experimentation. Through a dynamic annual programme of exhibitions, projects, events, and publications, the Trust actively broadens understanding of contemporary art and encourages ongoing critical dialogue.

HALO Design created exhibition preview posters and postcards that support the programme’s identity and communicate the spirit of experimentation and accessibility at the core of Blue Oyster’s mission.
